Visual artist. Born in 1965, he lives and works in Florina. He studied film directing and art, and has pursued international projects in Italy, Germany, Turkey, England, Brazil and China. He represented Greece in the 26th Biennale of Sao Paolo (2004), with Irene Savvani as the National Commissioner, and participated in the 2nd Biennale of Beijing (2005) and the Biennale of Thessaloniki (2009). He has had 23 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He has published the books Esoptron (2003) and Esoptron+ (2010) with Futura Publications. He taught visual art at the Plastic Arts Dept of the University of Ioannina (2007- 2010). Since 2010 he is Deputy Professor at the Visual & Applied Arts Dept of the University of West Macedonia in Florina, and in 2016 he taught in the spring semester of the Fine & Applied Arts Dept of the University of Thessaloniki. He collaborated with ANALOGIO 2015 in the Parallel Events “The pass: migrants and refugees”
