Director. Studied at the School of Philosophy of the University of Thessaloniki and the Drama School of Roula Pateraki, and obtained a PhD from the Theatre Studies Dept of Université Paris X -Nanterre. Deputy Professor of Acting-Directing at the Theatre Dept of the University of Thessaloniki, he has also taught at Drama Schools (“Proskinio”, National Theatre of Northern Greece) and at the Theatre Studies Dept of the University of Patra. Has worked as actor in Greece and France. In Greece he has directed for the Athens Festival, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Municipal- Regional Theatre of Kavala and various troupes including “Angelus Novus”, of which he is a founding member and permanent director, classic and contemporary plays and texts (often adapted or translated by himself).
