Actor, playwright. Born and raised in Athens, he studied in Boston and London and worked in theatre, including the Royal Shakespeare Company, film and television. His first play, The Pride, was on at the Royal Court Theatre in London in November 2008 for which he received the Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright. The production was also awarded the Olivier award for Outstanding Achievement, and the prestigious Whiting Award 2009. His second play, Apologia, premiered at The Bush Theatre in June 2009 and was shortlisted for a Writer’s Guild Award in the Best Theatre Play category; the play was featured in ANALOGIO 2010, translated by Athena Paraponiari.
