Writer. Born in Komitini in 1957, he heads the book supplement of Efimerida ton Syntakton, teaches creative writing (University of Western Macedonia, Hellenic Open University, “School” of Patakis Press), edits literary series and is interested in photography and script-writing. He has published 9 books of prose, 2 plays and 2 photo albums. In 2000 he won the State Short Story Prize for From the same glass and other stories. He has also published essays, edited volumes and translated many works. His own books have been translated in English, German, French, Spanish, Romanian, Czech and Chinese. Many of his works have been dramatised and staged by R. Pateraki, Th. Gonis, L. Meleme, P. Hoursoglou, Al. Kaltsiki, and he has collaborated on film scripts with Nikos Panagiotopoulos. His play Feathery nothing was featured in ANALOGIO 2011.
