Writer. Born in 1977. Co-writer of the films Dogtooth (2009), Alps (2010), The Lobster (2014) and The killing of the sacred deer (2016) of Yorgos Lanthimos and the film L (2011) of Babis Makridis. He has worked as contributor to various weekly and monthly publications. Alps won the Best Screenplay award at the 2011 Film Festival of Venice, while the screenplay for Lobster was awarded—before the completion of the film—at Cinemart International Festival in Rotterdam. His script for The killing of the sacred deer was awarded at Cannes. He has written the books Someone talking to himself while holding a glass of milk (MNP, 2009) and Scenes (MNP, 2011); the former was presented as a monologue by the ΚatayisΤeater team in 2012-13, and by director Panos Koronis in 2013-14. His play Bloods was presented in 2014 by the VASISTAS Group & Argyro Chioti at the Onassis Cultural Centre. His play Scenes was performed in ANALO- GIO 2014.
