Theatrologist, Assist. Professor at the Theatre Dept of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Thessaloniki. Graduate of the Institute of Theatre Studies, Paris ΙΙΙ- Sorbonne Nouvelle, PhD from the Philosophy School of the University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests include the terms of modernism in the theatre, the scenic presentation of ancient drama, the dialogue between Greek and European stage, art and history, the genetic research of a performance (from rehearsals to praxis), and the theatre for children and adolescents. She has published studies in Greece and France and translations from French and edited theatrological editions, presented papers in theatrological colloquia and participated in European programmes and research projects. Theatre critic (1988-2005) and repertory advisor to the Athens & Epidaurus Festival (2006- 2015), she has also produced and presented radio and television features on the theatre and curated exhibitions. Founding member of the Greek Theatre Centre for Children & Youths and the Greek Association of Theatre & Performing Art Critics. Sits on the judging committees of Europe Prize Theatrical Realities and the “Melina Merkouri Theatre Award”. In ANALOGIO 2007 she participated in the round table on “Modern Greek dramaturgy, new international trends and outlooks”.
