Playwright. Born in 1960, he studied Greek literature at the University of Thessaloniki. He writes and publishes poetry, prose, theatre, studies on different cities, landscapes and poets. He has published 58 books and 18 plays which have been staged by the National Theatre of Greece, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Athens Festival, the Tristan Bates Theatre in London, etc. His play Yum-Yum (Food) won the 2007 Karolos Koun Award. His play Mission to planet Earth was awarded with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture Prize in 2007. His play The road will take you is included in “The top one hundred and twenty contemporary European plays” shortlist by the European Theatre Convention (ETC, 2010). The play She is alone was performed in ANALOGIO in 2009, directed by Aris Troupakis , and Dragons was performed in 2011, directed by Stavros Tsakiris the latter is included in the collective edition of plays from ANALOGIO 2011.
