Writer, director. Assistant Professor and Head of the Theatre Studies Postgraduate Programme of the Open University of Cyprus. Studied English language & literature at the University of Thessaloniki, continuing in Britain and USA with American literature and directing theory (PhD). Art director of the Athens-based Persona Group. She has directed numerous produ ctions in Greece and elsewhere. Visiting researcher at the Κ Martin E. Segal Theatre Center of CUNY, New York, and at the MIT, Surrey and Leeds universities. Her monograph Authoring Performance: The Director in Contemporary Theatre was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2011. Her play Seasonal (or, the time of Iris) was directed by herself for ANALOGIO 2005 and is included in the collective edition Theatrical Analogio 2005.
