Actor, director, acting teacher and playwright. Born in Buenos Aires in May, 1975, as an actor he participated in over 30 plays. As director he and his team founded the “Timbre 4” troupe in 1998, producing Mauricio Kartun’s Chau Misterix, Jean Anouilh’s Euridice, Jamón del Diablo on texts by Roberto Arlt, Aristophanes’ Lysistrata and his own The Coleman Family’s omission, Tercer cuerpo, El viento en un violín and Emilia. He also directed Mr Sloane, Joe Orton’s Entertaining Mr Sloane, August by Tracy Letts and Arthur Miller’s All my sons, hosted in Buenos Aires and at Madrid’s Teatro Español. His theatre work has received numerous awards (ACE, Clarín, María Guerrero, Teatros del Mundo, Teatro XXI), and he was a ΚΟΝΕΧ nominee as one of the best directors of the decade. In Greece, the company of Claudio Tolcachir presented the play Tercer cuerpo at the Athens Festival in 2012. His play The Coleman Family’s omission, translated by Maria Chatziemmanouil and directed by Maritina Passari, was performed in ANALOGIO 2015 and then hosted at an Athenian theatre.
