Theatre critic, journalist and writer. Art columnist for the SME newspaper for 12 years, and since October 2016 public and international relations officer for the Theatre Institute. She studied civil engineering at the Technical University in Košice and public administration at the Academia Istropolitana, and took political science classes at London University’s Birkbeck College. She worked for weekly journals and for Domino magazine. In 1996 she instituted—and still runs—the Dosky theatre awards. Her first radio play, Ak bude pekne, pojdeme von (If it’s fine, we shall go out) won the main prize of the International Futura Festival in Berlin in 1993. In 2000 her play Citova zmes (1999) was among the favourites for the Italia International Award. Her play Tagebuch, adapted and translated by Yorgos Papayiannakis, was performed in ANALOGIO 2017.
