Writer of plays and short stories. Studied at Essex University and the London School of Economics. Her plays have been awarded (Ithaka, Angelstate, Lovers) and have all been featured in events or venues such as Southbank Centre, Soho Τheatre Studio, Lyric Theatre Studio, Tristan Bates theatre, ICA, Riverside Studios, Gielgud Theatre (London), in ANALOGIO and at the National Theatre of Greece and the Art Theatre Karolos Koun (Greece), BITS Festival, Perani, India (1st Award), Estaca Zero Teatro, Portugal. She has also been shortlisted in the BBC International Short Story Competition. Essays on her work by other writers and essays by her have been published by Cambridge University Press, Routledge, Harwood Academic Press, Mimesis Edizioni, etc. She has taught creative writing at the Universities of London and Greenwich for many years. She is also the founding editor of Brand Literary Magazine. Her play Edgewise was presented in ANALOGIO 2010, translated by Eleftheria Raptou and directed by Takis Tzamargias. Αngelstate was featured inANALO- GIO 2015, directed by Argyro Chioti. She took part in the Parallel Events and the educational programme of ANALOGIO 2015.
