Sofia Papoutsoglou is a professional actress, with an Alto voice type, of Asia Minor descent and based in Athens. She is a graduate of the “Iakovos Kampanellis” Higher Drama School of Agia Varvara (2019) and has expanded her training through specialized seminars in vocal arts with Maria Katrivesi, screen acting with Spiros Michalopoulos and Method Acting. She has extensive experience in television and cinema, appearing in Greek TV series such as Min Psaronis (ANT1), Floga ki Anemos (ERT), Molis Chthes (SKAI), O Ilios (ANT1), as well as in the international production Jack Ryan (Season 3). In theatre, her work stands out for its artistic and social impact. She has presented Loula Anagnostaki’s monologue O Ouranos Katakokkinos at the Correctional Institution of Women II in Korydallos Women’s Prisons, as well as in various Athens theatres, earning critical acclaim. Most recently, she participated in the 1st Psychodrama Conference with the one-act play The Disappearance. She is also a senior student of Maritime Studies, speaks English and Spanish, practices yoga and pilates, and has a great passion for travelling, literature and the arts.
