Penny Milia is a poet, writer, and performer from Athens. She has been awarded by the Panhellenic Union of Writers and the Union of European Writers – European Writers for her poetry and by the Greek Screenwriters’ Union for her play Spanish Summer (Kapa Publishing, 2019/performance: Beep Theater, 2019).

Her play Antigone, the strangers and the fire gained recognition at the Festival of Contemporary Greek Plays entitled We are all Different in London and her one-act play The Game was presented at the ATACA 2025 theater festival. Her poetry collection “After the Fire(Kapa Publishing, 2022) is released with augmented reality works by Anna Meli and her short story “From the Forest” in the collective volume “Her Voice” (Kastaniotis Publishing, 2023). Her video poem The Two was screened at film festivals.

She has taken part in conferences and festivals on poetry, theatre, and performance and has performed as an actor and performer.

Her poems and short stories have been published in a variety of collections, themed chapters, magazines and websites.
