Dimitris Pappas was born in Athens and grew up in Marathon. He studied physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued with postgraduate studies in history and philosophy of science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He went on to write his doctoral thesis at the same university on the topic of “Consciousness, a derived or emergent property.” He has been professionally involved in teaching science, computer use, and mathematics since 2003. In the past, he has designed and implemented programs for teaching science in original, interactive ways, combining knowledge from various fields of study, as well as construction skills. He currently works as a data analysis trainer. Artistically, he has acted and directed in amateur theater groups and has conducted a series of seminars on theater (acting, theatrical lighting, directing). He has also been involved in music as an amateur for more than twenty years. Three Stories About Water is his first play (published by Ano Telia).
