Translator. Studied Literature and Theatrology and worked in Secondary Education for 20 years. She has translated, individually or in collaboration with others, 106 Spanishlanguage plays of which most have been published and/or produced. She has translated also such textbooks on the theatre as Eugenio Barba’s The secret art of the performer, Peter Brooks’ The quality of mercy and evoking (and forgetting!) Shakespeare and part of the History of the Theatre by Oscar Brockett & Franklin Hildy. Won the EURODRAM 2015 award for her translation of Sergi Belbel’s Offside. Nominated for the “Marios Ploritis” play translation award in 2009 and the Theatre Museum’s translation award in 2010-2011. She has participated in international conferences with papers on the Spanish theatre, and has published essays and articles in Greek and Spanish literary magazines. ANALOGIO 2015 featured her translation of Claudio Tolcachir’s The Coleman Family’s omission.
