
Dimitris Foutsias

Dimitris Foutsias was born in Athens and is a playwright, director and group coordinator for creative writing and theatre groups. He has written twelve plays.
These have been staged in Greece (Aliki theatre, M. Kakoyiannis Foundation, Vault et al.) and abroad (Cyprus, Oxford, London). The snow on my teeth (Aparsis Publications, 2022) and Meatball (Kapa Publications, 2020) have both been published.
A founding member of the theatre company Plasters, he has directed three of his own plays: Rigolios the journey of a stripe; Acceptance speech, Patrocluss anatomy.
His short stories and poems have been published in collections and magazines and have received awards. He is the artistic director of the Icaria Festival With my own wings (2023-2024). www.dimitrisfoutsias.gr
