Writer, translator. Born in 1949, she studied political sciences in Athens and Paris. Her many collaborations include the Athens and Patra Festivals, the Athens Concert Hall, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Orchestra of Colours and Maison Antoine Vitez. In 2007 she received the Literary Translation Award, for her translation of Alain Robbe – Grillet’s La Jalousie. In 2011, her play Demon earned a commendation in the “Karolos Koun” Awards. A member of the Hellenic Writers’ and Playwrights’ Societies, she has sat on the boards of the National Book Centre of Greece, the European Translating Centre and the European Cultural Centre of Delphi. She has published 7 plays and works in prose. Her play The frozen garden was performed in ANALOGIO 2005, in ANALOGIO 2007 she conducted the seminar “Cultural mixing on stage: the translator’s task”, while her play Privatopia was featured in ANALOGIO 2017.
