Playwright, director. Born in San Martin, Argentine in 1946, he has written or adapted for the theatre over 30 plays. Was bestowed the Konex Award in 1994 as one of the decade’s most important figures in Agentinian theatrical literature, the Grand Award of Argentine’s Playwrights’ Union for his entire oeuvre in 2014, etc. He teaches theatrical writing, and his seminars have shaped dozens of young playwrights in the Spanishspeaking world. He is also professor of dramaturgy at the University of Buenos Aires. His plays have been translated in many languages and performed in Latin America and Europe. Among the numerous top distinctions from his country is the National Dramaturgy Award for his play Sacco y Vanzetti in 1991, which was performed in ANALOGIO 2015.
