Marianna Lampiri is a director, actress, and mental health counselor. She was born in Kalavryta. She began her theater training in 1991 at the Center for Ancient Drama. At the same time, she has attended seminars and courses in dance, movement, stage speech, and singing with Greek and foreign teachers.

She has collaborated as an actress with directors S. Doufexis, G. Houvardas, D. Komninos, and Stathis Livathinos, whose assistant she was from 1994 to 1997, among others. She began her directing career with her play “Pyric Cassandra” at Beton7 in 2012, at the C. Cacoyannis Foundation “Eros Thniton Athanatos” 2012, at the M. Kakogiannis Foundation “Second Odyssey” with poetry by Cavafy 2013, in 2015 in Athens Archaeological Society “Reconstructing the Homeric Sound: Iliad Rhapsody A,” theatrical reading in metrical prosody, “Fragments of Ancient Greek Sound,” theatrical reading at the Lillian Voudouri Library at the Athens Concert Hall 2016, “Papadiamantis: a theatrical documentary,” A.S. Since 2005, he has been collaborating with internationally renowned psychotherapist, author, and poet Dr. Edward Tick on issues of therapy through ancient Greek drama. Since 2015, he has been cultivating the genre of “Theatrical Documentary,” a staged documentary with dramatized elements.
