Playwright, actor. Born in Montreal, Canada in 1964, he studied acting at the Drama School of the National Theatre in Athens and worked as an actor until 2003, after which he turned exclusively to playwriting. He has written 7 plays. VITRIOLI was first presented as a reading at the Theatre de la Ville in Paris and was staged at the National Theatre in Athens, directed by Olivier Py (2012-2013). The same performance participated in the Avignon Festival (summer 2014). Redshift was first performed in New York (Between the Seas Festival, summer 2013). For Blind Spot he won the Karolos Koun Award (Best Play 2008) and for Wolfgang he won the Georgios Chortatsis Award (Best Play 2008-2010) and the Palmares Award 2010 (Commission Nationale de l’ Aide a la creation de textes dramatiques, Paris). His play El chupacabras of the schoolmistress with the golden eyes, based on the novel The schoolmistress with the golden eyes of Stratis Myrivilis, was commissioned by ANALOGIO and performed by the author himself under the direction of Sissy Papathanassiou during the ANALOGIO 2010, II. Topos/Eressos on the island of Lesvos in the summer of 2010.
