Professor of theatre semiotics and performance theory at the Theatre Studies Dept of the University of Patra, he has published 8 books and over 150 papers for academic journals and collective tomes on theories of theatre, performance, literature and photography in Greek, English, French, Italian, Romanian and Serbocroatian. Founding member of the Hellenic Association of Theatre & Performing Art Critics, Chair and Member of the Culture Ministry’s Theatre Consulting Committee, Member of the State Literary Awards Committee, the Karolos Koun Awards, the Theatre Critics’ Association, etc., and for many years organizer of the Meeting of Young Artists for the Ancient Greek Drama at the European Cultural Center of Delphi. Regular theatre critic for www.imerodromos.gr and the “Greek Play Project” (www.greek-theatre.gr), and former theatre critic for the Eleftherotypia and Imerissia newspapers, Nea Hestia (1999- 2012) and other literary magazines, and book reviewer for the daily and periodical press. In ANALOGIO he participated in round table discussions.He has also published reviews for the ANALOGIO festival in newspapers and magazines.
