Writer, actor. Born and raised in Athens, where he lives. Studied film directing, theatre and art history. Has worked as an actor in theatre, television and film, as radio producer and journalist. He emerged as a playwright in 2004 with the text Exodus, and then with the play Never together in 2009; both were produced, directed by Chryssa Kapsouli. In 2013, he wrote the play Κ, written and produced by inmates of Korydallos prison and performed on the premises and then presented at the Onassis Cultural Centre. He has written 6 plays. Suspense was first performed in ANALOGIO 2013, and in March 2014 it was staged at London’s Riverside Studios by the Theater Lab Company, translated by Elizabeth Sakellaridou; in November that year it was produced for an Athens theatre, directed by Vassilis Noulas / Nova Melancholia. In 2015 it was translated in German, Die Erwartung, by Sabine Kessel and was produced again in the winter season of 2018. His play Miss Misery was published and performed in ANALOGIO 2014, directed by Aspa Tombouli; an excerpt from the play was used in Re-Volt Athens (2016), which was presented in Berlin, Vienna, Zagreb and the Athens Festival. In 2017 he played in Yannis Ritsos’s Philoctetes ANALOGIO’s production which participated in the Sarajevo Winter Festival 2017.
