
Vasko Raičević

Vasko Raičević, one of the founders of ATAK (Alternative Theater Active Company), member of the Montenegrin Society of Independent Writers (CDNK), assistant professor at Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature.

He completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in drama at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje. Master’s degree with the topic: Dramatic forms of Veljko Radović’s plays.
The play A Good Death was staged at the Montenegrin National Theatre. The same play was staged in theaters in Russia, in Tobolsk and Rostov-on-Don.
He won the first prize at the competition for the best Montenegrin contemporary dramatic text in 2012 for the play Kalina Process.
His plays and short stories have been translated into English, Russian, German, Slovenian and Polish. OKF and CDNK (2015) published his book of plays. The book Kalina Process was published by CNP in 2017. Poetry book Anti-Europe was published by OKF in 2022. His short stories and essays are published in prominent magazines in the country and region.

For a short period he worked as an assistant professor at Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje. Currently he works as an assistant professor at Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature. From 2020 he is a member of the Montenegrin PEN Center.
