Sociologist, communication specialist, playwright, poet, academic. Born in October 1944 in Athens, he studied law at the University of Thessaloniki and continued with postgraduate studies in sociology in Paris. Returning to Greece, he was elected Professor at Panteion University. He has written poetry, essays and plays. In 2007 he was awarded the French medal of the Ordre des Palmes académiques. He has been President of the National Theatre of Greece and chaired the Committee for State Literary Awards. He participated in ANALOGIO 2009 with his play Processions and in 2016 with his play Women.
