The play

A girl likens her existence το an uneaten yogurt. Forgotten, redundant, discarded, she lives in a world full of waste, silence and indifference. She wanders around, a body in search of a purpose. She can’t remember what she wanted, she can’t discern what she needs. She is trying to carry the burden of her existence, but she’s failing. Days go by without meaning, waiting is her only company. Death becomes her everyday existence and silence dominates.

She isn’t waiting for someone, she is waiting for their absence.

Excerpt from the play

With people who speak with their eyes and listen with their knees.

People who fall to their knees and demand to speak to someone in charge.

They are placed on hold.

There is no signal.

First one person has no signal, then the other person has no signal.

And finally, when they both have signal, neither will listen.
