Born in Thessaloniki in 1964, he studied Classics in Ioannina and Theatre at the Dramas School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece. Founding member of the Theatre Company of the University of Ioannina (THESPI, 1983) and the \u201cStigmi\u201d theatre organization (1995). He has directed over 30 classic and contemporary Greek and foreign plays, and worked as an actor. He taught theatre directing at the Dept of Theatre Studies of the University of Patra (2008-2012) and sat in the Ministry of Culture committees for the entry and graduation exams of drama school students (2011-2015). In August 2015 he became Art Director of the National Theatre of Northern Greece.
