The two brothers were born in Kavala, where they live. They studied law and pharmacy, respectively, and both practiced their professions. They first appeared in the theatre in 1998 with Poor and saintly, an adaptation of five stories by Alexandros Papadiamantis. In 2001 they won two state awards for emerging playwrights for their plays The house with the presents and Don\u2019t scratch the sand; the former was staged in 2002 and the latter was first presented in ANALOGIO 2007. In 2011 they represented Greece at the Sarajevo Winter Festival with The mist. In 2013 Sotiria&#8217;s army was staged at the Riverside Studio in London; the same year their plays Poor and saintly, Women in snow and Wedding dress fitting were also produced. Forgive me was produced in 2014 at the National Theatre of Greece, where Antonis served as deputy art director for two years (2013-15). In 2016 the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus produced their play The bread of Nineveh. In ANALOGIO they have taken part in 2007 with Don\u2019t scratch the sand (State Theatre Award), in 2009 with The mist, and in 2011 with their play Forgive me        <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-5661","biography","type-biography","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biography\/5661","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biography"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/biography"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biography\/5661\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5662,"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biography\/5661\/revisions\/5662"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/analogiofestival.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5661"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
