Writer, Emeritus Professor. Originating from Symi, she was born in Egypt and lived there until she was seventeen; she lives in Athens since 1958. Studied English and Greek Literature at the University of Athens and Theatre at the Drama School of Pelos Katselis. Worked as an actor till 1970. From 1973 to 2008 she taught English theatrical literature at the English Dept of the University of Athens. In 1971 she married Dimitris Kechaidis, with whom they wrote the plays Laurels and oleanders and With power from Kifissia. Her writings include a doctoral thesis on the sociocultural discourse in the American theatre (1987), three monographs on the American theatre and articles on the theatre and creative writing. In ANALOGIO 2007, as part of the \u201cTribute to Dimitris Kechaidis\u201d, she co-presented with Lefteris Voyatzis the playwright\u2019s unfinished play Iloveyouallthetime. In ANALOGIO 2014 her play With new eyes was directed by Victor Ardittis. <\/p>\n\n
