Born in Moscow in 1970, she studied theatre at her native city\u2019s Gorky Institute. She established her reputation with both audiences and critics with her very first play, Tanya-Tanya, at the Fomenko Studio in 1996. YoU was first presented at Fomenko in 1997 and at Moscow\u2019s Art Theatre in 2001. All her plays have been translated and presented in Europe and America.
