Visual artist, academic. Born in Crete in 1970, he lives and works in Athens. Studied painting at the ASFA (1990-1996). In 1998 he received the 1stAward of the Spyropoulos Foundation. In 2001 he represented Greece in the 49th Biennale of Venice. In 2009 the Hellenic Culture Foundation presented his solo exhibition in Berlin. In 2013 he was a nominee for the DESTE Prize and in 2015 the \u201csignal\u201d art centre (Malm\u00f6, Sweden) presented his joint project with P. Oliveiros. In 2017 he participated in documenta 14 in Kassel in the \u201cAntidoron\u201d exhibition with works from the Collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art. Has presented his work in 22 solo exhibitions (Athens, Thessaloniki, Berlin, Glasgow, London, New York, Nicosia, etc.) and has participated in many group shows in Greece and abroad. Since 2009 he teaches at the Architecture Dept of the University of Patra. His works can be found in private and public collections.
