Born in Thessaloniki in 1974, he is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Thessaloniki and the Theatre Dept of the same University\u2019s School of Fine Arts, where he is a PhD candidate. He has worked as both doctor and actor, and is a founding member of the Sforaris Group. He directs plays in Greece and abroad \u2014 Deutsches Theater Berlin, Athens Festival, National Theatre, Sarajevo Winter Festival, Piccolo Teatro-Milan, Centro Dram\u00e1tico Nacional (Madrid), etc. He has won the \u201cKoun Award for Best Play 2013-2014\u201d, the \u201cInternational Prize Il Teatro Nudo, di Teresa Pomodoro, Milan 2014-2015\u201d and the \u201cNikos Zakopoulos Award 2014\u201d for his play Sons and daughters, which has been translated in English, Italian, German, Spanish and Bosnian.
