Professor of theatrology at the English Dept of the University of Thessaloniki, the Greek Open University and the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece. His research and teaching centre on the history and theory of western theatre. Contributor of theatre reviews for various publications; his articles have been published in distinguished periodicals in Greece and abroad. He has published 13 books on the theatre\u2014most recently Theatro kai Pangosmiopiisi (Papazissis, Athens 2013), Theatrikes Paremvaseis (University Studio Press, 2013), and his two-volume history of the American theatre (University Studio Press, 2010), which was awarded by the Union of Greek Theatre Critics. Since September 2015 he is director of Critical Stages, the magazine of the International Theatre Critics Association (IATC). In ANALOGIO he participated with play reviews and presentations and theoretical texts, such as his piece on Stamatis Polenakis\u2019s Fish soup for ANALOGIO 2009, and for the Supplement. <\/p>\n\n
