Writer, director. Born in Thessaloniki, she studied theatre and philosophy at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA and obtained an MA in theater writing from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She staged her first plays in New York\u2019s Off-Off Broadway scene and returned to Greece in the 90s. Since then her plays have been produced at the National Theater of Greece, National Theater of Northern Greece, the Athens Festival and Delphi among many others. Her work has been translated into Dutch, Swedish, German, French, Italian and English. Her recent book Tight belts and other skin won the Ouranis Prize of the Athens Academy in 2012. ANALOGIO 2005 featured her play Gorky\u2019s wife, directed by Nikos Sakalidis with artworks by Panos Kokkinias , in ANALOGIO 2007 she conducted a seminar on playwriting, in ANALO- GIO 2008 she participated in the round table \u201cAspects of dramaturgy: The playwright\u2019s role today\u201d and in ANALOGIO 2009 her play In my dreams I am a wolf was directed by Maritina Passari. <\/p>\n\n
