He has written and directed many of his own plays. Among his best-known works are Sweet Nothings (1974), Karyokampos (1989), 1843 (1990), The Curtain Falls (1999), Kapnokopto (2005), Napoleon (2007), Alkistis and Sweet Dreams (2012), Hermione (2022), Alifeira (2024), and Lela and Lela (2025). He translated into Greek plays by Jean Racine, Moli\u00e8re, Marivaux and other French playwrights. His prose works include Aischrotati Erietta and Dangerous Recipes, among others.
