Born in Thessaloniki, she attended the Higher Girls\u2019 School and the French School of Thessaloniki before enrolling at the Drama School of the Thessaloniki Conservatoire. She published poetry in literary magazines in Athens and Thessaloniki and, in 1932, released her poetry collection Nights of Vigil. She also wrote for the theatre, including Dina Pelli and At the Last Moment.
