Ainalis  <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>Artistic Direction, Dramaturgy: Savvas Stroumpos<\/p>\n\n<p>Performers: Natalia Georgosopoulou, Antonis Iordanou, Yiannis Ismirnioglou<\/p>\n\n<p>The performance <em><strong>\u00abSoma Medea\u00bb<\/strong><\/em>, by <em>Alas<\/em> theatre company, is based on the play <em>\u00ab<\/em><em>DCX<\/em><em> 212 Medea Constraction\u00bb:<\/em> <strong>by Z. D. Ainalis  <\/strong>and was written for this particular performance. It was presented during the theatrical season 2024-2025 in Athens, attracting the warm response from critics and viewers. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Savvas Stroumbos<\/strong> is responsible for the artistic supervision and adaptation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Performed by <strong>Natalia Georgopoulou<\/strong> and <strong>Antonis Iordanou<\/strong>, with the show&#8217;s composer and musician <strong>Yannis Ismurnoglou<\/strong> on stage.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is worth noting that the previous work of the group, &#8220;War Has No Woman Face&#8221; by Nobel Prize-winning author Svetlana Alexievich, was also presented with great success for two years, both in Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Soma Medea or Medea wound, is a landscape of ultimate desire and lament.<\/p>\n\n<p>Can life stem from a womb other than the unique visible or invisible wound that each person keeps within?<\/p>\n\n<p>How can it be revealed? Which is the space and time destined to embrace the theatre of life?<\/p>\n\n<p>Which is the stage that revives everything destined to pass into oblivion?<\/p>\n\n<p>Medea and Jason remain unquestionably, inseparably together. Their mutual body is Hades, their souls, animating between myth and reality, play a theatre of life and death in Hades. In front of us we watch a game of two surviving shadows who experience the most human tragedy, that of devastation and desolation.  <\/p>\n\n<p>A game of two ghosts or two survivors experiencing the most human tragedy, that of ruin, that of desolation, of shadow.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>N<\/strong><strong>atalia Georgopoulou<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Z.D. Ainalis \u2013 Brief Biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Z. D. Ainalis was born in Athens in 1982. He has published the poetry collections <em>Electrocography<\/em> (Gavriilidis Publications, Athens, 2006; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> edition, Thraka, Athens, 2018), <em>The Silence of Siva<\/em> (Vakxikon.gr Publications, Athens, 2011; 2016), <em>The Fairy Tales of the Desert <\/em>(Kedros, 2017), <em>The Monody of the Desert<\/em> (Kedros, 2019), and <em>Something Slower<\/em> (Ypokti, 2021); the collection of poetic narratives <em>Excerpts<\/em> (Gavriilidis Publications, Athens, 2008) as well as the poetic novels <em>Michalis Tatsis <\/em>&#8211; <em>With the Cadre in His Hands<\/em> (Panoptikon Publications, Thessaloniki, 2011) and <em>Mythology<\/em> (Panoptikon Publications, Thessaloniki, 2013). His poems have been translated into English, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Finnish.    <\/p>\n\n<p>He is a member of the editorial team of the literary magazine <em>North-Northeast<\/em>.
