Michel Fais, Feathery nothing

Around the family meal in Feathery nothing, the quarrel of a couple escalates as the two parties seek some vague vindication. However, the only thing that is vindicated in this sick game of attraction and repulsion is the “nothing” of their relationship, the ”nothing” of human communication: the spectacle of the failure to arrive at its imminent end. The
whirl of words, which keeps harping on about repressions of the past, unfulfilled desires and unspoken expectations, postpones the irrevocable end. Ultimately, these words which come from a depth of unaddressed issues, fruitless arguments and reluctant compromises, refuse to create a context of mutual understanding
