George Maniotis
He studied law at the University of Thessaloniki.
In addition to prose works, he has also written numerous plays, which have been repeatedly staged in Athens.
His well-known plays include: The Match, Common Sense, Passions, The Pit of Sin, The Spouses, Krystallo Mambo Dances, Sedentary Life, Holidays in Uranopolis, Order and Disorder, etc.
His well-known works include: The Unknown Soldier (mystery novel), Black Fairy Tales (Second State Short Story Award, 1998), The Terrible Protection (novel), Here Are the Wheels, Mom (short stories), The Winter Repertoire, The Spring Repertoire (thriller), The Cunning Path (novel), Adrenaline Always High (novel), The Sands of Sappho (short stories), Dad’s Lawn (novel), Cow with Wings (novel), Forty Waves (novel).
He is also involved in directing. He served as vice president of the National Theater from 2013 to 2015.
