Plays by Greeks born in Greece and living in Europe, and Greeks who were born abroad and chose to return to Greece: this is the corpus of this year’s Readings of Analogio. The National Theatre of Greece has the great pleasure of introducing the Greek public to their work and welcoming the playwrights who are well-established internationally but remain largely unknown in our country. Special mention is due to the first presentation, in the context of these events, of the unpublished play Phaedra of Giorgos Cheimonas, ten years after the author’s death in Paris in February, 2000.
